Can U Hear Me?
  • I'm responsible for keeping you in the know for about 75 of our sister radio stations. (Ok, it's really like 5, but you get the point.) You can hear me on The River 97.3 WRVV, WHP 580 AM, BOB 94.9, The Fortress 1230 WKBO, FM 97, and 1390 WLAN nearly every day.

Sometimes, you may even hear me nationwide with Fox News Radio talking about the hot topics in the Commonwealth...or just the really odd things that tend to happen here.

When high school football season rolls around, you'll be able to catch me in the Play-By-Play booth on AM 1460 the Ticket covering Cumberland Valley and Bishop McDevitt.

Beginning in the 2007-2008 season, I added some new duties outside the radio station as one of the PA Announcers for Hershey Bears hockey. GO BEARS!

Who Is This Guy?
  • Good question!

Bob is homegrown without a doubt! Born and raised in the countryside just outside of Shamokin, Bob has spent his entire life right here in Central PA, graduating from Our Lady of Lourdes Regional High School in Coal Township in 1998 and Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove in 2002.

Although at a young age (granted he's older than he looks), Bob has an experienced background in broadcasting, working as a Top-40 DJ and a television production crew memeber before joining the WHP 580 News Team in late December of 2004.

In June of 2005, Bob became a morning news anchor on our news/talk sister station.

In the summer of 2007, Bob added more duties, delivering the news for several of Harrisburg's other top rated stations in the Clear Channel family.

Finally, Bob became The River's Morning News anchor in January of 2009.

Armed with a sense of humor and a "lucky to be here" attitude, Bob adds to an already tremendously successful radio station with his background in our communities, our sports, and our lifestyles.

Bob has also won several Pennsylvania Associated Press awards for excellence in reporting.

Bob welcomed his first son, Brodey, on May 18th, 2006.
